With a decade-long immersion in the artificial turf industry, Tyson Welch assumes the role of Vice President of Strategic Accounts.
His extensive responsibilities include managing strategic accounts and spearheading their acquisitions. This involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams spanning marketing, research and development, operations, and distribution. Additionally, Tyson works in tandem with Shawgrass Territory Managers and Regional Vice President to service strategic partners both nationally and regionally, leveraging their expertise.
With his profound grasp of market dynamics and product intricacies, Tyson adeptly navigates client interactions, strategically positioning Shawgrass as an industry leader in the Artificial Turf Industry.

Raised near State College, Pennsylvania, Brooke's adventurous and resilient spirit was nurtured by the surrounding mountains. At Penn State University, she shined academically in Business Management and on the club softball field, earning the title of 3rd team All-American.
Brooke's entrepreneurial journey started with a homemade bath bomb business, eventually leading her to own and operate an exterior painting company. Her career is a diverse tapestry with significant achievements in business development, entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, sports, events, construction, and media.
Now making her mark in the turf industry, Brooke is committed to fostering opportunities for growth among her customers, driven by a belief in the transformative power of innovative outdoor solutions. As she looks to the future, Brooke's excitement for the potential of Shawgrass is palpable. With her at the wheel, the horizon in the southeast is bright and very green.

As an avid surfer, golfer, and former landscape contractor, Bronzen brings his passion for nature to the team here at Shawgrass. Based out of San Diego, CA, his mission is to be at the forefront of water conservation and sustainable development here in the state.
Partnering with landscapers, landscape architects, sustainable build contractors, and many others, Bronzen intends to lead CA towards a green future through Shawgrass' various residential and commercial turf products.

At a young age, he expressed a passion for outdoors activities and athletics. As a former athlete he has desire to be on the cutting edge of the landscape and sports turf evolution.
Malik Makkawi is a long time California resident excited to join the Shawgrass division. With a Bachelors in Business Management and an extensive history in sales and business development, he brings a new and refreshing energy to our Shawgrass team!

A native of Wilmington Island, Georgia. Ryan's affinity with the outdoors and protecting it for future generations started at a young age, growing up around the salt marshes and waters of Coastal Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2017, Ryan began an extensive career in the business development side of building material sales. Based out of Miami, FL, he is looking forward to partnering with general contractors, landscape architects, and many others as we all work in tandem toward more sustainable development. With an overall mission to continue positioning Shawgrass as the market leader in the artificial turf industry.

Tim is a Georgia native and has been serving the commercial playground industry with safety surfacing since 1998. He offers valuable “hands on” experience, not just with our turf products, but also with design-build, budgeting, site prep, drainage, installation, and maintenance “best practices”.
Tim is a former NJCAA and NAIA golf All-American and when he’s not working, still enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife of 42 years (Cindy), and their four grandchildren.
Tim joined the Shaw Turf team in 2010. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
